Signing at Barnes & Noble
Signing at Barnes & Noble

Recently, I had the joy of signing copies of Love Is All at the Barnes & Noble in Papillion, located at Shadow Lake Mall. Walking into a bookstore and seeing my own novel on display was nothing short of surreal as my dream shifted into reality. For as long as I can remember, I have imagined becoming a published author. To sit at that table with my name on the sign and write inscriptions along with my signature inside the front pages of my book felt both gratifying and humbling.

I am deeply grateful to the manager and staff at Barnes & Noble for showcasing a local author and giving me the opportunity to share my story. Their support reminded me that being a writer is not only about sales or crowds. It is about showing up, being visible, and believing in the work you have created. It is also about being patient and finding the right publisher who believes in you and your work.

Nice company for a debut novel!

A few days later, I returned to the store and

found Love Is All displayed front and center,

nestled among some of my favorite authors. It was not tucked away on a “Local Author” shelf in the back but placed prominently where every book lover would see it as they walked in the door.

There it was, holding its own beside the likes of Nicholas Sparks, a sight that stopped me in my tracks. In that moment, I realized my dream had grown larger than I ever dared to hope. This book, once only a spark of an idea in my mind, was now out in the world, standing tall, ready to be discovered.

Thank you Old Fort Press! You are exactly the right publisher for me.
